2. What NutCap provides
NutCap is a Windows application for streamers and content creators. It processes your camera on your device to track head movement and place your live eyes and mouth onto 3D characters or objects for use in OBS and other video applications. Our store supplies faceless digital characters, objects, costumes and props; users supply their own live facial features in the app.
NutCap is available as a public beta. Free features, Creator subscriptions and paid assets are available as shown on the website. Previewed or planned features are not a promise of a release date. We will show the available features, system requirements, price, currency, applicable taxes and billing interval before a paid order is placed. See our plans.
Products are delivered digitally, with no physical shipping. After successful payment, an asset licence is added to the purchasing account and can be downloaded through the connected app library; a subscription enables the stated features on that account. Internet access and the same signed-in account are needed for account services, purchase verification and downloads. Contact us if delivery fails.
3. Accounts and responsible use
The Free app can be used without an account. Account features and purchases require accurate account information. Keep your sign-in credentials and device connections secure, and contact us if you suspect unauthorised access. You must be legally able to enter a contract to make a purchase; otherwise a parent or guardian must make and manage it.
Use NutCap lawfully and respect other people’s privacy, consent and intellectual property. Do not use it for fraud, deceptive impersonation, non-consensual sexual content, harassment or unlawful surveillance. Do not bypass access controls, share account credentials to distribute paid access, or interfere with the service.
You are responsible for the images, models and other material you use or import, and for any streaming platform rules. Only use someone else’s likeness or content with the rights and permissions required. NutCap does not obtain ownership of your original recordings or creative work.
4. Software and asset licences
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive licence to use the NutCap software and assets you lawfully acquire. A purchase grants a licence, not ownership of the underlying intellectual property. NutCap and its licensors retain their rights in the app and supplied assets.
You may use your licensed assets in NutCap to create and share performances, livestreams, videos and still images, including monetised content. You may not resell, sublicense, share or redistribute the underlying asset files as standalone products, upload them to an asset library, or make them available for others to extract. Rights granted by mandatory law and separate open-source licences remain unaffected.
Asset purchases and the Creator subscription are separate. Purchased assets stay in your library when a subscription ends, but costumes, character props and other Creator-dependent features require active Creator access to use. The product listing will identify any plan requirement before purchase. Refunding an asset ends its licence and access; existing recordings made lawfully before the refund do not need to be removed.
5. Prices, payments and subscriptions
Only the price, billing interval and product details you accept at checkout authorise a charge. Before payment, you will be able to review and correct your order or leave checkout. We do not charge for merely expressing interest in Creator.
Eligible signed-in accounts can explicitly start one seven-day Creator trial, shared by the website and app. No payment card is required and the trial creates no charge. Its expiry is set by the server. After seven days the account returns to Free unless it has valid paid or granted Creator access. Separately sold assets are excluded; the trial creates no permanent asset licence. Purchased assets and saved setups are retained when trial access ends, while Creator-dependent tools require active Creator access.
An approved three-month Creator pass is a separate one-off purchase with no automatic renewal. It adds three calendar months after your current prepaid expiry, or starts when payment is verified if no current pass remains. Dates use UTC and clamp to the last day of the target month when needed. A pass does not create another trial, convert or cancel a recurring subscription, or include separately sold assets. Packages contain the assets stated at purchase; later package edits do not remove those purchases. Package listings disclose Creator requirements and any assets already in your library; prices are not automatically prorated.
When subscriptions launch, they will renew at the interval shown at checkout until cancelled. You can cancel future renewals from Your plan in your NutCap account, or email owner@nutcap.net for help before renewal. Cancellation stops future renewals; paid access normally continues until the end of the current period unless that charge is refunded. We will give notice of changes to recurring prices before they take effect and an opportunity to cancel.
Ivan Schoeman trading as NutCap is the seller of NutCap assets and subscriptions. When an approved paid checkout offer is available, its price and currency are shown before payment and payments are processed by PayPal. A recurring Creator subscription requires a PayPal account and your approval; buying a subscription does not start another trial. Payment methods for one-off asset purchases depend on PayPal eligibility, and guest card checkout is not guaranteed. NutCap handles product support, refunds and applicable tax obligations. Public checkout uses PayPal in live mode. Sandbox checkout is for internal testing only.
6. Refunds and consumer rights
We offer a full refund when requested within 7 calendar days of an asset, package or Creator prepaid pass purchase or subscription charge, including a renewal. Read the Refund Policy for the request process and effect on access.
This guarantee is additional to rights you have under applicable consumer law, including remedies for faulty, misdescribed or undelivered products and any applicable cancellation or cooling-off rights. Nothing in these terms removes a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
7. Availability, changes and ending access
We aim to provide reliable software and support, but beta software may contain bugs and services may need maintenance. Keep independent copies of your creative work. We may update the app for security, compatibility or improvements. We will not use these terms to remove mandatory remedies or retrospectively reduce the licence for a completed purchase.
We may restrict access for a material breach, fraud or a security risk. Where practical, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to resolve it; urgent risks may require immediate action. Email us to query a restriction. If we discontinue a paid service, we will give reasonable notice and provide any refund or other remedy required by law. We remain responsible for obligations and liabilities that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
8. Privacy
The Privacy Policy explains local camera processing, website accounts, connected devices, payment records and your information rights.
9. Questions, disputes and updates
Please contact owner@nutcap.net to report a problem or make a complaint. South African law governs these terms, without taking away mandatory consumer protections or access to courts and regulators available in your country of residence. You do not have to waive those rights to use our support process.
We will publish updates here with a revised date and give reasonable notice of material changes through the website or account contact details where appropriate. Changes apply prospectively; your order record and the terms accepted at purchase continue to govern that purchase unless a lawful, agreed change applies.
